More Samsung NX1-LX rumors...
There is some weird rumor about a "special" NX1 edition. The source told me Samsung is testing such a camera and still checking if it makes sense to bring it to market. It's basically a lower megapixel version of the NX1 with those specs:
1) 10% lighter body compared to nx1, slightly different grip
2) 60fps at 4k, full sensor readout
3) swivel display
4) 1.5 stop better dr and high iso compared to nx1
5) A Samsung led video lamp is also in development to bundle with nx1-lx

Samyang launched a new teaser on facebook to "prepare" for the new 100mm macro lens. This one will come for all digital mirrorless systems like Sony E, Samsung, Fuji X and MFT.

Nikon 1 J5 coming soon with new 20.8MP sensor and 4K recording.

The Nikon 1 J5 will be released at the NAB show in Las Vegas and will be Nikon first 4K capable camera. To do that it uses a new 20.8MP sensor.

Sony says many more FE primes will be announced in late 2015 (including a portrait prime)
At a Sony presentation in Germany The German Journalist Martin Vieten got this small updated FE lens roadmap. It's slightly different from the English Photokina roadmap as it hints that "many FE primes" will be announced in late 2015. And Martin also got a hint directly from Sony: One of the fast primes will be a portrait lens.

Adobe Lightroom coming at last on March 25. Pricing leaked in Australia.
The Australian Store Tlconline.com.au leaked the release and pricing info of the new LR6: It will cost $205 AUSD and ship on March 25.

Ricoh manager says: "the time is not right for us to make a large sensor mirrorless camera"
In an interview with Dpreview Ricoh/Pentax manager said:
"With current technology we believe the time is not right for us to make a large sensor mirrorless camera."
So there are you have it. No FF mirrorless coming yet from Pentax/Ricoh. Pity, I think it would be the right time to launch such a system before Canon and Nikon do it!

Two more features rumored to come with the next NX1 firmware updates...
I got some tidbits about two more features that Samsung plans to add on the NX1 via future firmware upgrades:
1) raw lossy compressed files (ala sony) selectable to increase buffer size and reduce file size in general. The compression has been studied to retain 95-99% of sensible information, while reducing of 15 to 30% the file size.
2) cropped 4k (along with the already existing downscaled 4k).
I have no detail about when exactly the next firmware will be released but I have been told it's "very soon".

Fuji X-T10 is likely to come (around) June!
The "mini X-T1" could arrive sooner than expected. Trusted sources at Fujirumors report the X-T10 will be announced around June already!

Two new 4K mirrorless cameras to come soon: Panasonic GX8 and Fuji X-PRO2?
4K is one of the new Big words camera manufacturers cannot ignore. So it will not surprise anyone here that both next Panasonic and Fuji cameras will have 4K video recording:
1) The Panasonic GX7 successor (GX8?) will be announced in May and certainly feature 4K recording
2) The Fuji X-PRO 2 scheduled for a late 2015 release should become Fuji's first camera with 4K recording (says Fujirumors). It will be interesting to see how Fuji will fix the X-trans weakness on the video front...
P.S.: Also Sony should announce a new E-mount 4K camera soon...

Leica will soon announce the "Leica Q Type 116".
The Taiwan agency NCC registered a new and yet unanounced Leica Q Type 116 camera. There is yet no other info about the specs of the camera.

Fuji admits it will run the Megapixel race too withe the next generatin X-trans sensor.
It was and is inevitable. You have to run the Megapixel race too if you want to survive in the digital camera business. Fuji Manager Toshihisa Iida confirmed in a Dpreview Interview that they will launch a higher MP sensor camera. The good news is that all current X lenses can resolve future high resolution sensors.
